About the Role:
Australian Premium Solar is seeking a proactive and experienced In-House Trainer and Compliance Manager to join our Ahmedabad team. This dual-role position requires expertise in training and development, as well as ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will create impactful training programs, support professional development, and manage compliance requirements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and Development:

  1. Training Program Design and Implementation:
    • Develop and deliver training programs tailored to various departments, focusing on skill enhancement and technical knowledge related to solar technology.
    • Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and create targeted training content.
  2. Onboarding and Continuous Learning:
    • Lead onboarding sessions to introduce new employees to APS policies, processes, and core competencies.
    • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure employees are up-to-date with industry developments and compliance standards.
  3. Skill-Based and Technical Training:
    • Develop curriculum for both soft and technical skills, focusing on areas like safety, customer service, and renewable energy practices.
    • Stay informed of advancements in solar technology and industry best practices, incorporating these into training modules.
  4. Evaluation and Feedback:
    • Design assessments to evaluate employee performance and skill acquisition, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Gather participant feedback post-training to enhance future programs.

Compliance Management:

  1. Policy and Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure the organization complies with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.
    • Develop, update, and communicate APS’s compliance policies to employees, ensuring adherence to legal standards and company protocols.
  2. Audits and Reporting:
    • Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to verify adherence to regulations and address any compliance gaps.
    • Prepare and submit compliance reports as required by regulatory authorities and management.
  3. Risk Management and Incident Response:
    • Identify potential compliance risks and implement corrective action plans to mitigate them.
    • Respond to compliance violations or incidents, coordinating investigations and corrective measures as needed.
  4. Documentation and Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, training sessions, employee certifications, and audit results.
    • Ensure that all compliance and training documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible for inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Law, or a related field. Certifications in Compliance Management and Training & Development are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar dual role, ideally within the solar or manufacturing industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compliance regulations and standards applicable to the solar/renewable energy sector.
  • Proficient in designing and delivering training programs for diverse teams.

Key Skills:

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, LMS, and compliance management software.
  • Analytical mindset with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and across teams to foster a culture of compliance and continuous learning.
